#8 Make one new recipe a week, pt. 5
Posted on: March 26, 2012
Soooo…as my good friend T said recently, “I haven’t seen many recipes lately on your blog.” Yep, I’ve been slacking a little bit. BUT a couple of Mondays ago, I went on an appetizer kick and made three different awesome appetizers!
First, I made honey soy chicken wings. Delicious and so easy! I didn’t use a recipe for this, just cooked the wings and then after they were cooked, coated them in the honey soy marinade I made (using honey, soy sauce and a bit of water). While the wings were tasty, the other two appetizers I made really knocked it out of the park.
I made mozzarella sticks. If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE mozz sticks. They are my absolute favorite appetizer, and once I saw this recipe I knew I had to make them. Let me tell you — those things were good. And the best part is that they are baked, not fried so they are way healthier than normal. Trust me. You need these in your life. I may or may not have had some for dinner last night.
And then I made this super easy Hot Caprese Dip. In case you can’t tell, the theme that night was cheese : ) Oh boy, was this delicious. So easy to make with only three ingredients. And so easy to eat.
Also, I’m making this salmon dish this week. Yum-o! I’ll be changing up that recipe a little bit and using arctic char instead of salmon but I expect it’ll be just as delicious.
I’m so happy to report that I’m back in business with my recipe makin’!
