“I will trust you” – the refrain from a song we sang at Capitol City Church last Sunday morning. This line was stuck in my head all week and I began thinking about what it means to really trust. I think real trust is intertwined with faith. Because, how can you truly trust in something or someone, without having faith in them? I don’t think you can. Which is part of the reason my faith requires me to trust. And while I still have a long way to go on my journey, I’m getting there.
I am so blessed to have found a church that is so open and so welcoming. I am experiencing God in a whole new way and it’s awesome. I did not expect to fulfill this goal so soon, but it is the best, most unexpected gift thus far. 🙂
