Day 10 of 31 Days of Project 30!

As promised, I finally got my act together and decorated my tree! Yay. In case you missed it, here is the before picture. I got this tree (and last year’s tree) at Frager’s. If you are in the DC area, you need to check them out. My tree was $30, which was a total bargain. Especially considering that they oh-so-kindly secure the tree to the roof of your car with twine, making it so easy to get the tree home. Last year, the very nice gentleman even put my tree in the tree stand for me, so I wouldn’t have to figure it out once I got home. That right there is service, folks.

Anywho, I digress. I’ve always had this idea of putting up a tree with Mariah Carey and Kenny G Christmas songs playing in the background and someone special helping me. You know, something out of a sappy movie. Silly, I know, but I’ve always thought it would be so nice. Well, this weekend it happened. K and I had an absolute blast decorating the tree and dancing around to music. Corny, I know, but to me, it was perfect. And with that, I present…the after!

Now that the tree is up, I can go ahead and create this year’s holiday card. A bit late, I know, but hopefully they will make it out in a week or so. At least that’s the goal 🙂
