That’s right…you read correctly. Do you love cranberry sauce? I do. It’s one of my favorite holiday treats and I’m kinda obsessed with it. I decided to make my own this year because it seemed pretty simple. Oh man. Simple is not the word. This is the EASIEST thing ever and you will NEVER eat canned cranberry sauce again! Promise 🙂
All you need is a bag of cranberries, sugar and water. That’s it. Literally. Take a cup of water, and once it boils, add a cup of sugar. Once the sugar dissolves, add your bag of cranberries. Let the cranberries simmer on the stovetop for about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour the sauce into the serving bowl of your choice. Let it cool, then it’s ready to go!
If you’d prefer the sauce to resemble your favorite canned version, just let it simmer longer on the stove and strain out the whole cranberries. I swear, y’all, this is so easy and so delicious that you won’t want to go back to canned cranberry sauce ever again!
