Call for Books

March 8, 2013 By: project30in20122 Comments

In the past, when I’ve done a call for book recommendations, I’ve gotten a lot of great suggestions. I’ve been working my way through the last set of books that friends loved and I’m ready to restock my Kindle. What have you read lately that you’ve absolutely loved? I’ve been in a bit of a weird book mood lately, so let me tell you a bit about what I don’t want to read:

  • Anything that will take me a month to finish. I’m really looking for something that is a quick, fun read (think more along the lines of Gone Girl, rather than Pillars of the Earth).
  • I’m not looking for any biographies or autobiograhpies right now (although on my longer to-read list is Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s new book).
  • Nothing too heavy.

I guess, in short I’m looking for fun reads that will make me want to stay up all night finishing them. Whatcha got? 🙂

Check out my blog for some book recommendations. Think there are around 6 or 7 there that I would say are easy reads.

I can’t remember if I’ve already suggested the Veronica Roth books (Divergence, Insurgence, and book 3 comes out this year, I think). You will definitely have trouble putting them down, and I think you’ll like them.
