The number one question I’ve been getting about wedding planning recently has been “do you have a dress?” And the answer is a definitive no. I haven’t even really started looking, which I know is crazy to some folks. I wanted to find a website with a HUGE inventory of dresses to get started figuring out what styles I like. I came across dress first, which has tons of dresses, but a HUGE number of wedding dresses as well. The site also has bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses (although I don’t really know what makes a dress a mother of the bride dress, they do exist), prom dresses (for any of y’all with young daughters) and much more!
I’m not ready to show y’all dress styles I’m thinking about…but I also saw some great wedding decorations. In particular I was looking at personalized toasting flutes. I thought they’d be a fun addition. What do y’all think?
The other thing I was looking at on the dress first site was veils. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do a veil or not, but it’s great to have so many options to check out. Really, I have to say that I was so excited to find this site. There are of course TONS of sites with TONS of dresses, but on dress first I can search by fabric, color, style details and more. For example…I had no idea that veils had tiers — did y’all know that? I sure as heck didn’t!
Okay, so I know I said I wasn’t sharing wedding dress ideas, but I will clue y’all in on the fact that I’m looking for navy blue bridesmaids dresses. I’m looking on lots of sites, but I’m really excited by the fact that dress first has almost 100 different dresses in the navy blue color family. Woot woot! If y’all are in the need of a fancy dress – for a wedding, a gala or any big occasion, you might want to check dress first out.
