Friday Five December Edition

December 6, 2013 By: Courtney @ Eat Pray Run DC18 Comments

Well folks, we made it again! It’s Friday and Mar, Cynthia and I are linking up again! Woohoo! Today I’m taking it back to the old school and just writing 5 things that I’m excited about. The fact that most of them are running related…well, what can I say? πŸ™‚

  1. My Christmas Tree is here! It’s not decorated yet, since it arrived while I was out of town, but it’ll be done before I leave town (again) Sunday. I’m so happy I got it a bit earlier than I did last year so I can enjoy it longer.
  2. Marathon Training is starting again! My training starts on Saturday and I’m in the super-excited, this-is-gonna-be-awesome phase! Remind of this when it gets hard.
  3. I finally met Mar in person! Yay!!! She’s doing the same training program and I met her at the kickoff event yesterday. She’s awesome of course, and I’m thrilled to be doing this training alongside her.Β marlesa!
  4. We finally chose a wedding venue! I’ll share more about this soon, but honestly, it’s such a relief to have this piece of the puzzle figured out!
  5. I’m cheating, but did I mention how EXCITED I am about marathon training? I’m so thrilled to start this with a group and I met so many awesome runners at the kickoff. I’m just pumped! πŸ™‚

Don’t forget to link up and if you aren’t already following Mar and Cynthia, you definitely need to do so.

What are you excited about? Is your tree up yet?Β

We put our trip up a week ago and I love it! It’s the first time we’ve done a tree of our own because we always spend the bulk of the holidays out of town, and James has been too little, but now that he’s bigger and our 6-year-old is here, we did everything, and I love it! Hope you post pics!

We have to have a fake tree because of allergies, but I love it anyhow! We decorated it on Sunday and it was so fun. The kids love it. That is so cool that you met Mar!

I’m so jealous you were able to meet up with another running blogger … especially Mar! We have a fake tree because we’re usually away over the holidays and started putting it up last night … it’s part of my 5 for Friday. πŸ˜€

Happy Friday and thanks again for hosting the Link Up.

I’m so excited for you to start marathon training and for finding a wedding venue! Plus, meeting Mar equals one awesome week! How do you find the time to fit it all in?! This time of year is always hectic but it’s nice to see that you are filling it with lots of positive and exciting things.
