Friday Five: Five Things I’m Loving

March 5, 2015 By: Courtney @ Eat Pray Run DC95 Comments

Happy Friday!  As I write this, DC is looking really gorgeous with about 4 inches of fresh snow outside. It’s beautiful. I’m over it. Spring, please? Anyway, we have themes decided for the next couple of months so check them out here. Per usual, I’m linking up with my girls Cynthia and Mar for the #Friday Five. You can read our linkup rules here. Please note that if you don’t play nicely, we will delete your link. Have a wonderful weekend!!

j a n u a r y (3)

  • Believe Training Journal. I love this journal and use it just about every day. It is so full of great tips and insight but also it just somehow makes me want to work out so I can record it. Honestly. I’m not sure why I feel that way but I just really love this thing. If you are looking for a training journal, I strongly recommend this one!
  • Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Larabars (referral link). OMG. I’m so obsessed with Larabar in general but this particular flavor is my absolute favorite. It’s all natural, gluten free, vegan, dairy free and kosher. SO SO SO delicious. Trust me on this one.
  • Oiselle Moto Lesley Tights. Also known as my new favorite pants ever. SOOO comfy. SOOO cozy. I’ve literally worn these from a run to the barre to a bar. I know. What can I say? I’m a runner, I’m married and I’m 32. Putting on real clothes is hard.
  • Oreo Cupcakes. I can’t stop making them. They are really so incredibly good. I’ve already made them twice and will probably make them again in the next few days. I have a problem – I just can’t stop!!
  • Empire. I love this show. It’s so ridiculously addictive and I’m totally hooked. If you don’t watch it, you should!

What’s on your list of favorite things right now?

I also have and love the Believe Training Journal. I find it incredibly well organized and inspirational. Unfortunately, I’ve fallen behind on journaling since I stopped running. I’d plotted out my training plan for the spring marathon I’m no longer running, so opening the journal and looking at all of that bums me out a wee bit. I need to get over that, though. Onward!

It may be time to add them back into the rotation. The snow was pretty yesterday but I am so over it! Hopefully it will warm up enough next week to melt it all once and for all!

I have yet to find a LaraBar I don’t like – but you can never go wrong with Chocolate Peanut Butter. And Oreo Cupcakes?? Can I come over? So many people love the Believe Training Journal – I’m a paper & pen kinda gal when it comes to planning, but I haven’t purchased it yet…maybe next training cycle.

Ooh, I love the peanut butter chocolate chip larabars too. They’re so delicious. It’s like eating a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie.

    Things I’m loving lately:
    1. The Fage greek yogurt from costco. It’s so creamy and delicious.
    2. Sunshine to run in.
    3. Pictures of Babies. It makes me want to have my own!!
    4. Trying new recipes.
    5. Exploring the blog world.

Well, I certainly agree with oreo cupcakes! I actually was obsessed with oreos when I was pregnant so I try to lay off them as much as possible. I also really love those larabars. They are perfect when I want to curb my sweet tooth that pops up at the end of the work day! And, this is yet another reason I need to give Empire a go!

One of my running friends in my MRTT chapter got a Believe training journal for Christmas and she loves it! You keep talking about those Oreo cupcakes and I want to try them. I might have to make them one of these days!

I’ve been meaning to mention that every time I comment on your blog I have to type in my name, email, and website again – the info isn’t already in the spaces like it used to be. Do you think that’s a problem on my end or are you hearing that from other commenters as well?

Chocolate peanut butter is my favorite bar flavor. I’m currently eating that flavor Zone Bar. Larabars are yummy but they are not available in my grocery store.

I’m a huge fan of anything with peanut butter and chocolate, so I’ll have to give those Larabars a try. And those Oiselle tights are so cute!
