Whether your tree is up already or you are refuse to acknowledge Christmas until after Thanksgiving (which is, ahem coming very soon!), the holidays are quickly approaching. I’ve had a couple people recently email me saying they have a loved one starting to run and asking for some gift advice. I decided I’d just compile a bunch of my favorite runner gift ideas into one holiday gift guide for runners post. (note: some of these links are affiliate links, which means I’ll earn a small commission if you use the link).
I bought one of these Trigger Point rollers at the Richmond Marathon expo last weekend and it.is.so.good. The one below is meant for your tired, achy feet and is right now on sale for just under $25. Your runner will love you when they open this gift. Trust me!
Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves – these are my favorite leg sleeves (for compression socks, I like Pro Compression) and they are available in SO many awesome colors and designs. I love them so much!
Katron Running Vest. With how cold it already is here, I think I’ll need this very very soon (as in yesterday).
Gift card to a local running store — in the DC area, my favorites are Potomac River Running and Pacers. Shopping local is always the way to go!
Garmin 610 GPS Watch – I love my Garmin Forerunner 10 but will probably upgrade to this or the 220 next year.
I LOVE my Oiselle arm warmers and these lux ones take it to the next level. The material is so cozy, your runner will appreciate it on those days where the weather is cold then warm then cold again.
Alex and Ani Marathon bangle. This is a perfect gift for the runner who just conquered 26.2 this fall. I love it.
A place to hold all their medals! A running medal rack is a great idea – you can find a LOT of options out there but I suggest starting with Etsy.
This list is a mix of both affordable gifts and more pricey things — I hope you all find this helpful when shopping for runner friends! Can someone please email all these blog posts to my husband?? 🙂
What’s on your list this year?
