2 quick at home workouts

June 20, 2013 By: project30in201213 Comments

I posted awhile back about a great strength training circuit. While I still love this circuit, I’ve found that I get board with circuits quickly, and need numerous options to keep me motivated. So I started rooting around on Pinterest for some great circuits and found a few that I’m going to add to my rotation. I love the convenience of at home workouts and hopefully you’ll love these two as much as I did!

The first is a simple push-up / jumping jack countdown workout. This is great for an at home / no equipment workout and also will be great on the road while travelling.

I loved how simple this was and did it while The Bachelorette was on in the background. It was challenging but not so challenging that I wanted to quit. Win-win!

Next is a 10 minute arm workout (video link below) from Sarah Dussault. My thought was that I’d combine the circuit above with the video for a good full body workout. It worked. While the video is quick, I definitely felt the burn and my arms were actually a little sore the next day, which is always a good thing. I really enjoyed Sarah in this video. She was relateable, easy to follow and fun. After finishing the video, I instantly went to her youtube page to find more of her fitness videos. Check her out!

Do you use youtube fitness videos to shake up your routine?

Congrats! I am a #SweatPink ambassador too. I got to meet Jaime and Alyse at SXSW this year. They did a yoga at the park. Cool ladies.
