October Challenge Week 2 Ramp Up! + New Fav Snack

October 8, 2013 By: project30in20126 Comments

It is the second week in our October Challenge (can you believe that?!) and I’m here with the Week 2 Ramp Up! This week, as you continue to pump out your pushups, you can choose to ramp it up by adding a row! Push ups with rows are a great way to continue to sculpt your upper body while engaging back muscles as well. Below is a great image of what this looks like and for more detail, check out this link. renegade_row

In other news, I have a new favorite snack. I have been a fan of Kind Bars for awhile – they are made of real ingredients you can pronounce, full of fiber and gluten free. But most importantly, they taste delicious! I get a box delivered to my house each month and they don’t last very long 🙂 After the Clarendon Day 5k/10k Double, I stumbled into a Whole Foods in Clarendon and low and behold, there was a Kind Bar rep peddling the bars and offering samples of the Cinnamon Oat Cluster. OMG. So tasty! I of course bought a bag and have been snacking on it ever since. I eat it like granola — so over yogurt, with milk and sometimes plain. I just ate the last of my bag yesterday and…I need more! Highly recommend it if you are looking for a healthy snack!

Oh yes!

Oh yes!

What’s your favorite healthy snack?

I get Kind bars delivered by amazon too, but I have to keep them at work because of the youngest’s food allergies (nut-free house!). I will try the snack stuff once I’m off the Whole30 – looks yummy.
