As y’all know, I’m a Kindrunner Ambassador. I love the company’s message and thought that having an amazing virtual running store would be the best thing ever. So when I reluctantly decided it was time to replace my current running shoes, I thought I should back up my Ambassador-ship and order my shoes from Kindrunner. With their awesome selection and reviews onsite, it was an easy choice.
After much hemming and hawing, I decided to order the Mizuno Wave Rider 16s. The shoes were touted as lightweight but supportive and good for the neutral runner. I ordered my shoes from Kindrunner and because I was confident in my choice and my sizing, I saved $5 off the cost (for more on this, check out Kindrunner’s Confident Runner Price information here). I also thought I might get lucky and win free socks for life — Kindrunner was doing a promotion where the first 500 customers would receive a free pair of running socks with each shoe order.
I was super impressed with how quickly my shoes arrived and happy to see that my free socks were in there! I actually loved these socks. They were Brooks brand, super comfy and great for running. Now on to the shoes…
These beauties just didn’t look good…they felt GREAT. I ran my first workout in my new shoes on the track and I couldn’t be happier. It took me a couple laps to actually get used to wearing a lighter shoe but I quickly adjusted. I love love LOVE running in these shoes. They have the right amount of support but aren’t heavy and I don’t feel weighed down by them. I also really enjoyed the easy ordering process through Kindrunner. One of my favorite parts was sending back an old pair of running shoes in the box they provided (along with a prepaid UPS label) so that the shoes can be re purposed for another use. How awesome is that? And not only do I get to feel good about that, I now have $10 credit to be used on my next Kindrunner purchase. Woohoo! I definitely recommend both Kindrunner and the Mizuno Wave Riders.
What is your favorite running shoe? Have you checked out Kindrunner yet?
