Rock Your Core April Abs Challenge – Week 3!

April 13, 2015 By: Courtney @ Eat Pray Run DC32 Comments

Here we are, on to week three of the #RockYourCore abs challenge! Tell me, have you felt stronger this month? I know I have! In case you are just joining, check out this post and then swing on back to hear about all the week three fun!

First things first – check out this amazing recipe for grilled chicken with a gorgeous berry salsa by Maureen at Organically Mo. Doesn’t it look delicous? Yeah, I think so as well!

Now, on to this week’s exercises and sponsors! Checking out our handy dandy calendar below, I see that this week’s exercises are a side plank, Russian kicks, v-ups and bicycles. Scroll down to get the lowdown on how to do each of those moves!

Rock Your Core Challenge

Here is our fabulous Nicole demonstrating the moves of the week:

Okay – now I know what a Russian kick is! Personally, side planks are one of my favorite things to do – I like the challenge they offer and love working that area of my core. Which exercise is your favorite this week? Which one are you dreading?

rock your core sponsors week 3

This week’s sponsors are FitSnack, Quest and Zensah. All our sponsors are amazing, but let me say a quick word about Zensah. I’ve shared previously about my love of compression sleeves and how (while not 100% convinced of the science) they work for me. So I’m super excited that one of this week’s prizes is a pair of Zensah calf sleeves! I hope the lucky winner loves them as much as I do!

Tell me: have you stuck with this challenge or taken a little break?

I’ve done a few challanges in The past and really enjoyed it. I actually won some workout pants with a Sweat Pink challange at the beginning of the year. πŸ™‚
