One of my BRF (best running friends) Mar at Mar on the Run is hosting a running tunes link up today and since I love music and love discovering new stuff, I thought I’d join in on the fun. Here are my top five new (to me) running / workout songs:
- The Monster by Eminem and Rihanna. Tell me this song doesn’t pump you up!
- I Will Wait by Mumford & Sons. I just discovered this song a couple of months ago and it still works for me.
- Timber by Pitbull.
- Work B*tch by (who else?) Britney. I’m not much for tons of cursing, but dang it, this song is catchy and gets me moving!
- Lose Yourself by Eminem. I’m sorry, I just can’t quit that song. I spoke the lyrics to myself over and over again last weekend while running 14 miles. It worked. 🙂
