What is Project 30 in 2012?

December 9, 2011 By: project30in201210 Comments

Welcome! After much contemplation, I have decided that I miss the creative outlet of writing and that I’m going to give it a go again. A friend recently started a 27 by 27 blog and I was inspired by that.

Thus, Project 30 in 2012 was born. As the title suggests, I’ll be turning 30 in 2012. October 16 to be exact. And while I am generally pretty happy with my life, I like the idea of setting tangible goals and holding myself accountable for completing those goals through this blog.

Some background: I’m a lawyer by trade, but currently working for an education nonprofit in DC. I live in NE, in the Atlas District. I’m a mama to a super sweet, four year old mini doxie and I’m a food lover. Outside of work, I captain a coed football team and love boxing. Basically, I’m awesome πŸ™‚

So what is on my list? As you will see in my next post, it’s a mix of the typical, the unusual and the sometimes completely random. A few of the items on the list have already been completed (it has been almost 2 months since I turned 29, I’m giving myself that pass!) and I look forward to completing the rest and sharing those stories (along with my thoughts in general) with you.

Courtney
