I regularly find it interesting to see what search terms folks use to direct them to this little ole blog. I thought I’d share a few with y’all for a laugh. Do you ever check and see which search terms direct folks to your blog? If so, share in the comments!
Some of the funnier ones:
“short prayer for eating snacks” – I’m very curious what the short prayer they said before eating their snacks. Also, what snacks were they praying over? So many questions!
“blog florida, pilates, food, run wine” – I guess for awhile I was blogging about running while in Miami and I do enjoy food and wine 🙂
“smitten kitchen roast chicken” – This isn’t funny but I’m so intrigued by how months after I blogged about this recipe, people still find my blog by searching for it. It’s a great recipe, if you are interested.
“pineapple run” – I have NO idea what brought that search to my blog. I do eat a lot of pineapple, though. Hope they found what they were looking for!
“yes, you can eat whatever you want while marathon training” – Um, I’m pretty sure I NEVER said that! Because, let’s be honest. It is NOT true. While I may or may not eat whatever I want during marathon training, I wouldn’t advise that strategy to everyone 🙂 Hilarious.
What do people search to find your blog? Anything funny?
In other fun news, last week I was a featured blogger on the RunChat blog. You can check out the feature here and join RunChat ever Sunday evening 🙂 Do you ever participate in RunChat? If you haven’t yet and you use twitter, you should definitely consider it. I’ve “met” a bunch of fun runners and gotten some great advice through participating in the chats. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday the chat starts at 10pm EST and on the 2nd and 4th it starts at 8pm EST. Hope to see you there soon!
