A Pinterest Holiday Craft Project

December 23, 2012 By: project30in2012comment

Day 23 of 31 Days of Project 30!

If you are anything like me, you love receiving holiday cards. However, every year, once they start rolling in, I struggle with how to display them. Usually, they end up in a stack on my dinner table. Not very festive and it truly does the great cards I receive a disservice. So this year, I turned to Pinterest for ideas. I wanted something that was relatively easy, quick and cheap. Turns out, I was in the right place. I pinned this idea to one of my boards and (like most Pinterest pins) promptly forgot about it. Until three days ago when I realized that my holiday cards were, once again, sitting in a stack on my dining room table.

I purchased the ribbon and had the tape and thumb tacks at my house. The rest was really just very simple. Once I secured the ribbon, I simply taped each card to the ribbon. Boom. Pretty display of holiday cards is complete and it took less than five minutes.

Here is the final look.
