A Sammie with a Twist

August 21, 2013 By: project30in20128 Comments

Tomatoes. Mozzarella. Basil.  This combination is probably my absolute favorite flavor combination and I think I could eat it all day. In the summertime with farm fresh tomatoes it is that much better.

After spending last Saturday morning picking up goodies at my farmer’s market, I thought I’d combine my favorite flavors with one of my favorite summer treats: the delicous peach. WOW. Y’all…make this sandwich! For serious 🙂

I don’t even think I could give it a try. Just makes me want to sing, “One of these things does not belong!” lol. But I’m glad YOU liked it, that’s what’s important. =)

Sounds interesting. I love grilled peaches, but I have a hard time eating tomatoes. Most of the time i can sneak them on my sandwiches, but other times i will take a bite, taste nothing but tomato and then i have to pull off the slice. Weird, i know.
