You may have noticed I’ve been a bit of an absentee blogger. Between finishing up my old job, preparing to start my new one, embracing a couple days as a “lady who lunches” and travelling to Virginia Beach, I’ve been oh so busy (go ahead and insert sarcasm here!)
Virginia Beach was absolutely wonderful. I went for the Wave Church Conference. I was expecting a wonderful experience, but boy was I blown away by what I experienced. From the worship to the word, everything was fantastic. I think it was the most thoughtful three days I’ve had in a long time. And Friday night’s speaker, Bishop TD Jakes, was outstanding. I truly can’t think of a better way to describe the Conference, other than life changing and thought provoking. If you missed out, next year try and make it a priority to come! And I haven’t even mentioned the fellowship! It was so awesome to hang out with my CCC family at the beach. I am already looking forward to next year.
Expect more regular blog posts in the near future — I’m happy to be back. Soon, I’ll be writing about my car free [not quite but almost] month! In the meantime, enjoy my last shot of what I left behind in Virginia Beach.
Excited to hear about the WAVE Conference! And about being car free! I just heard (this is just rumors…) but the parking at the Nats. stadium might go up for $15 an hour? Crazy (although, thinking about it, it’s not the worst idea!), maybe being car free will teach you a thing or two. 🙂
i will catch you up on sunday! or maybe tonight at screen on the green??
It was great seeing you at Screen on the Green! I would definitely love to go next year! From the videos I saw, it looked super awesome!
Can’t wait to serve with you Sunday! 🙂 Have a great week!
